I recently worked as a Research Assistant with the Action Research Study of the Kensington Market Community Land Trust.
I was initially brought on to work with the co-chairs of the Kensington Market Community Land Trust (KMCLT) Board to solidify the land trust’s presence and build the membership. I helped hire a Community-based Designer, and we worked together with the Board to create a website and communication tools that represent the mission, story, and aims of the Land Trust. In June 2021, the KMCLT acquired the building at 54-56 Kensington Ave, a remarkable move that was the result of years of community organizing.
